About the Director

Lisa Healey

Lisa Healey graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Studies and then obtained her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She has been extensively trained in Direct Instruction (D.I.) teaching methodologies, and is an active member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Lisa has taught in classroom, tutorial, and home-school environments. She was a Business English instructor at the University of Silesia in Poland. Following this unique teaching experience, Lisa taught for many years in the public sector in Québec and Ontario. She has instructed children in numerous subject areas and grade levels including split-level classes & special education. Her love of educating children with exceptionalities inspired her to teach at a private academic upgrading school in Oakville for several years.
